Matthew graduated from BA (Hons) Product Design at Central Saint Martins in 2009 and later that year enrolled on an MSc post-graduate degree course in Interactive Multimedia. He got involved with Design Against Crime Research Centre as they were the client in stage 3 for his final major project ‘Anti Shoplifting and Anti Bag Theft from Shopping Spaces’. Matthew looked at ways to build security into products to prevent shoplifting (and bag theft) and to integrate anti theft shopping into the customer experience.
