Jackie Piper

Jackie studied in the USA before returning to complete MA in Industrial Design at the Royal College of Art. She has been working in the creative industries for several years for companies such as Polaroid, Panasonic, Hollington Associates and Matteo Thun, before founding W2/ Whitbread Wilkinson with Victoria Whitbread. W2/ Whitbread Wilkinson make contemporary collections for the home and gift market, sold globally from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Heals & Lane Crawford. In addition to W2/ Whitbread Wilkinsons’ own and licensed design collections, there is consultancy side to the business, working for companies such as Sainsbury’s and Bathstore, seeing projects through from concept to creation. Teaching since 1997, Jackie also worked with Design Against Crime Research Centre, creating two Stop Thief chairs, purchased for the permanent collection at the MoMA, and now in production with Kian.
