Shadow Home Secretary David Davis recently confirmed that "Designing out crime is a serious concept that deserves serious attention". Earlier in the year, Professor Lorraine Gamman, Professor Paul Ekblom and Adam Thorpe were invited to the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit to explain the concepts behind Design Against Crime and to advise the Home Office on its strategy. Adam Thorpe’s Holborn Gateway Project/ Bikeoff work also featured in this context in Design Week:
